In 2013, the People’s Government of Heilongjiang Province upgraded the Heilongjiang Green Food Exhibition Week, which had been held for three consecutive years, to the Heilongjiang Green Food Industry Expo (referred to as the "HGFIE"), as an important measure to implement the "Heilongjiang Green Food Industry Development Outline".

Since 2014, successfully integrating “Heilongjiang Golden Autumn Grain Trade and Cooperation Fair”, “Harbin World Agriculture Expo”, “China Heilongjiang Beidahuang International Agricultural Machinery Expo”,  Heilongjiang Green Food Industry Expo provides a professional whole industry chain service from farming field to the dinning table. Since 2019, Heilongjiang Green Food Industry Expo and China Heilongjiang International Rice Festival was held at the same time. Since 2021, Heilongjiang Green Food Industry Expo has been upgraded into China (Heilongjiang) International Green Food Industry Expo, a national-level expo sponsored by China Council for the Promotion for International Trade and the People’s Government of Heilongjiang Province. In 2023, the Expo upgrates again. Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs of the People’s Republic of China, China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, and the People’s Government of Heilongjiang Province mutually host the First China (Heilongjiang) International Green Food and National Soybean Industry Expo.

The First China (Heilongjiang) International Green Food and National Soybean Industry Expo (hereinafter is referred as CIGFNSIE(HLJ) ) is scheduled to be held from November 14 to 18, 2023 in Harbin International Conference Exhibition and Sports Center. The 2023·19th Heilongjiang Golden Autumn Grain Trade and Cooperation Fair shall be held during the expo. With the theme of “Green Development, Together for a Shared Future”, the total exhibition covers 60000㎡, with soybean industry, famous, special and new green food, Heilongjiang "PREMIUM" and other exhibition areas. In Soybean exhibition area, soybean seed industry, planting, processing, technology and other soybean industry chain enterprises and research institutes are invited to participate in the exhibition, negotiate docking, build a national soybean production, supply and marketing professional docking platform. The exhibition area of famous and special new green food and "Black soil Excellent products" will focus on the upstream and downstream enterprises and products of the industrial chain such as corn, rice, cold water fish, forest, livestock milk and meat geese. At the same time, in accordance with the "2+5+N" model, supporting activities were organized and implemented, namely: focusing on the two key directions of famous and special new green food and soybean industry; Around "policy release, new product release and product promotion, industrial investment promotion, special report, live delivery of goods" 5 content; Covering "N events" of the whole industry chain of "raw materials, production, processing, consumption, logistics and supporting services", we strive to build the first Expo into an international green food and national soybean industry trade and investment cooperation platform.
